This is the way we work with many clients, since they have on-going needs. You can enlist us to identify a range of candidates over time. We feel that we provide very high long-term value with this arrangement. We recruit for specific positions, but also present other candidates if we think they might fit. Our clients are the kind of organizations that say: "We need to know who is out there. We'll find a way to accommodate the real stars. . .even if we don't have an open position." They think of us as an extension of their recruiting department.
Hexagon Search
Our retained search model is built around customizing assignments to our client's specific requirements. Searches of this nature are generally undertaken when a client has a need for either a senior level executive, or an individual with unique qualifications that is difficult to identify in the marketplace. These searches require dedicated recruitment resources and laser-focused market targeting.
In this mode, we require that each of our clients be dedicated to filling their open position requisitions, and allows us the necessary access to key process decision makers in order to ensure a successful result. It is especially important and necessary that our engagement manager meets the client decision-makers at the beginning of the search process. This provides us with a thorough understanding of the position requirements along with an appreciation of the corporate culture in which the selected individual will be working.
We will then deploy a dedicated team of search professionals who "attack" the marketplace on behalf of the client with the focused intent to generate superior candidates. Once each potential candidate has been thoroughly screened, we will then present appropriate candidates to the client. We pride ourselves on our ability to consistently produce "A+" candidates in short periods of time.
Hexagon Onsite
Our "Onsite" model answers many of the questions facing human resources departments today. The "Onsite" model provides a client with an on-premise, fully functional recruiting firm. It is largely a variable expense model that allows for the "Onsite" expansion and contraction of the staffing organization in direct response to changing hiring demands.
The "Onsite" model offers all of the advantages of a corporate recruiting function such as:
- dedicated recruiters
- support for all position levels (except CXO and functional head levels)
- support for all functions
- screening and processing of employee referrals
- data collection and management reporting.

The size of an "Onsite" team will vary depending on client demand, but is always sized to ensure that client expectations are exceeded. The composition of a team is determined by the client’s requirements but would generally consist of team members playing the following roles.
- Team Lead - who is responsible for the overall planning and day-to-day activities.
- Recruiters - a variable number of Recruiters who are responsible for sourcing and pre-screening candidates.
- Coordinator - who is responsible for clerical duties such as preparation of offer letters, the collection and reporting of management data, coordination of pre-employment testing.
Pricing for each engagement is determined by the level of client commitment and the scope and complexity of the desired work. It is usually not tied to the number of Hexagon’s staff involved unless specifically requested by the client. And contrary to popular belief, we can help bring down total costs of recruitment.
The keys to the effectiveness of the "Onsite" model are flexibility, dedication, mutually established goals and objectives, quality, cost effectiveness and a sense of urgency to get the job done right (needless to say by both sides)
