When should you talk to a search firm?

Can I submit a resume in confidence?
All resumes received by Hexagon Executive Search are treated as highly confidential. They will not be shared with clients until you have been personally contacted by mail or phone.
How can I get more information to see whether my background would be a good fit?
When we receive your resume, we will evaluate your background in the context of the positions which we are seeking to fill. If the fit looks right, we will contact you and begin a discussion.
What if I'm not the right person for the position?
Will I be considered for other positions? If the position summary you responded to isn't the right fit, we will maintain your resume in our active database for other suitable opportunities that we may be seeking at the moment or which may arise in the future.
What happens after I submit my resume?
Your resume will be reviewed by our staff (usually within 48 hours) to see if your background is the right fit for the position to which you responded. If it is, we will contact you to set up a first-round telephone interview. That interview will cover the basics and enable us to get a better feel for your experience, background, interests and motivations to look for a change.
Do I have to pay for your services?
Absolutely not. We are an executive search firm and our fees are paid by our clients. Like all other professional relationships in your life e.g. your doctor, your lawyer, your financial consultant, etc., all we expect from you is professional courtesy, full disclosure and an open dialogue.
